Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC '02 (With diorama)

Ok so here are some pics I took this evening of the Renaissance Transkit compared to Tamiya parts and some of the result on the 2003 livery.
I still have to upload some pics of the real car but all the pics are in this gallery.

The first strange thing is that on the box art Tamiya shows the right rear wing

Dashboard:

Rear wing

Result on the built model

I hope this already helps you to see the differences...

I'll upload in my gallery and post here some pics of the real car as soon as I find the most interesting.

Re: WIP: Peugeot 206 WRC '02 (With diorama)

You're welcome

Yes I still have some more but expected to be used as I still have several trankits to build on different 206 WRC.
My brother has already completed one of his models using the transkit, the Argentina livery shwon on the pics.

This TK is still available at Renaissance:

You also can find the one to convert the 2000 Evo into 2001/early 2002 evo

Yes,but I think the transkit is very expensive Or only for me

And I gave a thought to it,that your transkit we would be able to copy ,I need the wing and the dashboard only

Although I would be able to transform the dashboard and the wing forgiving even myself for the pictures possibly even!
On the dashboard roughly only the socket of the right side display false,I can make it. The wing though only wider? The design is totally identical?

Thanks

Well, on one hand it costs 20 euros for several resin parts and PE, which is not so much expensive (but France is expensive to produce something...) but on the other hand 20 euros is almost the price of the kit !
I can say anything, only you can decide concerning the price.

Yes it is able to copy the wing, I did it once, I must have the mold somewhere...
But it's not impossible to enlarge, cos' yes it's the only thing required, and repositionning the flap on it (more space between them) of course.

on the dashboard, you have a new display of the switches but you can also rebuild it yourself.
the shape of the central console is a bit different (see the pic from the side) but nothing than can't be made by yourself.
for the socket it's a bit more complicated I suppose, but surely not impossible...

If I still have the mold of the wingh I'll try to make you a sample.

Don't forget to sand molding lines !!
The phone must be placed more to the front of the dash (closer to co-driver's hands).

The mods on the chassis are perfect !
