Thanks, I will definitely make sure I'll do that. Had trouble with decals on my CRX build I did last week.

Thank you, I know about the cam cover, but as I mentioned above I decided to paint it Alfa red instead of silver cause silver looks boring. I call is slight tuning

Re: Tamiya 1/24 Alfa Romeo GTV (1996) Twin Spark 16V

All right, I have finished the interior. First, I had to clean up front seats that had a lot of imperfections and took couple of hours of work to get into the shape I wanted:

Interior color had to be something not boring for a body paint like this – I picked a combination of black and gognac. Base color was mixed from these 3 colors:

Then everything was masked off and painted black:

Tamiya includes some plastic mesh for the front grille in the kit, and I used it to make the speaker grilles look a bit more interesting:

Painted and detailed the dash:

Interior ready for assembly:

And a few pictures of the completed:

Painted window trim:

Washed and assembled the wheels:

Assembled and detail painted front bumper:

And finally a mock up of everything together:

Looking good! Great idea to use the mesh for the speaker grills.

Re: Tamiya 1/24 ALFA ROMEO GTV (1996) Twin Spark 16V

Perfetto Alex!
The skills are back, it almost feels you have never left the hobby. It is the way you make the photos, weather the chassy, detail paint everything (dashboard, chassy and the stance are perfect!), everything put together makes me wait for your next progress on each model you make.

Thank you for being my inspiration for the past 10 years!
