Tamiya Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R 1970 "Hakosuka" (The 1st GTR)

Hello!

This is the Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR (KPGC10) "Hakosuka", Built using the Tamiya kit plus Fujimi Watanabe Wheels, and some body modifications on the wheel arches.

My subject of choice was this Hakosuka, modified by a japanese tuner called RS Start

One of my favorite things about this special Skyline is the use of carbon fiber in the hood. I´m not a big fan of the carbon fiber hoods on cars but for some reason in this particular car it seems appropriate to me...

Here is a Youtube video of the car too...

Fantastic looking model.

I do have a weak spot for these old Japanese cars.
Execution of this build is just perfect. Wouldn't mind having this one 1:1 in front of my house...

Dave:

The front wheel arches came from another kit of the "Ken & Mary" Skyline (2nd gen GTR) from Fujimi, it cames with extra parts to get more wider wheel arches, so I modified them to fit the Tamiya, the rear wheel arches came with the kit.

Excellent and accurate execution of a mean looking brute machine. Very nice. A winner overall. Congrats.
