Their a band.
On a side note, anybody playing MW2? Incredible game. However, they do need to work out a few bugs like all online games starting off. Can't get logged in right now for some reason.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
I totally missed out on the controller convo... I have every controller except for the original NES controller... Original Xbox and gamecube ones are the worst ever designed... I got some smaller wireless controllers for my Xbox and they were so much better, but still not as nice as the PS controllers... I bought a logitec PS2 controller that is the most comfortable one I've ever held. It is slightly altered from the original PS controllers and feels amazing... Kind of like the first time you experience tons of boost on a built motor.
Oh and when I saw MW2 I instantly thought of Mechwarriors 2. lol...

There is a few good songs on it. I like their older music the best as well though. I feel like a couple of the songs could be a lot better with some parts done just a little differently.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
Hey guys - anyone ever dealt with a dealership before? My friend took her car to do some maintenance at a Toyota dealership because "[her] bf told [her] to" ( ). She spent about $750.00 bucks at the place for an oil change, coolant flush/change, plug replacement, front brakes change, and their standard inspection.
Anyways, she dropped it off yesterday and they said it would be done but by evening, they called her back to get a rental because they didn't have pads in stock. It was supposed to be done today by noon but when she went there to pick it up around 4-ish, they said it wouldn't be done for another hour or so. When she finally picked up the damn car, someone had wasted half a tank of gas and dropped 65 additional miles onto her car.
Obviously she is pissed. Wait, let me rephrase that - I AM PISSED!!! Like WTF you know? She called me right away when it happened but I was in the gym and didn't get to her until an hour later and by that time, she had already paid and left (I honestly do NOT understand why her bf would let her pay!!!). She will have to return to deal with this sh*t tomorrow.
Basically, what can she do at this point? I told her she shouldn't have paid originally because they f*cked up and she shouldn't put up with that crap but since she already did, is there any type of threat that she could do to them to get something back!?! Anyone have any experience screwing over a dealership (and yes, I mean literally cause those f*ckers deserve it!).
Let me know your thoughts...thanks...

Wow, that's a brutal story... Also the reason I will never trust leaving my vehicle at a place like that... She could threaten to report them to the BBB... I'm not sure if there is any other legal things she could push without before and after proof really... That really sucks bad though...

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
Without proof of mileage idk, but the dealership usually marks mileage when it comes in, i know when i worked at good year we had to right when we pulled it in. I would tell her to talk the BBB.
As for modern warfare 2 i played alittle at my buddies the other night but i can't buy it right now due to saving my $$ for the car build. But we played the special ops missions which were cool, glad to see it has more re playability then the first one.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
^^Yeah, I've thought about BBB. Hopefully some good can come out of it.
As far as proof goes, she has proof because they wrote down the mileage on her car when she dropped it off and saw the difference when she picked it up. Is that enough or no!?! I'm thinking that the reason why she noticed was because of her gas. Prior to dropping off her car, she had a full tank and when she picked it up today, half of it was gone.
Oh yeah, and would reporting the incident to corporate Toyota make any difference by any chance?
ARGH - I'm still so mad!!! >=[

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
I'm thinking photographic evidence of the mileage would hold up better against just written evidence... Unless the dealership actually wrote the mileage down when it got there, which will be no good now since the car has left the dealership and they could say she put the miles on it after she left...

Hey Bro what year and car does she have?
that is a good amount of work that was done I will check what labor calls for and see how bad she got it stuck to her. the 65 miles thing. I always drive the car before the customer takes it home.. 65 miles is kinda a lot but seeing 20 isn't. I just had to put 200 miles on a customers car for diag reasons. I also had to put gas in the car and it will be put on there bill.

That is very messed up SLade! I know a guy here in Omaha with a MINT 99 VR4 who left his car at a shop that put a few HUNDRED miles on it. He was absolutely furious. Not sure what to tell you. If you can prosecute them in any way I say go for it. Take those social parasites out! Otherwise, they may be out of luck. This is one of many reasons I do the work myself on my car.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
just saw the 4th kind and 2012. 2012 was even more disappointing and impossible than i thought it would be...but at least the graphics were good. The 4th kind succeeded in freaking me out a bit...took me an extra hour to get to sleep lol.
