Ignition Switch Replacement

Can anyone remind me of the procedure to remove the tumbler from a 2002 Ram Van 1500. I recall a pin release on some other vehicles but this one is not as clear. Any help appreciated.

Re: Ignition Switch Replacement

Turn the key to the RUN position and press in on the release pin you mentioned while pulling outward on the lock. The release pin is under the lock cylinder.
