97 sable

I was woundering how to get the front wheel bairing off.97 sable
All the books i seen said there are 3 bolts. not on this on.

Should look like this. The bolts go in from the back side.



If not then its not a 97. The 10th digit of the VIN will tell you what year it is along with the emissions sticker under the hood and the Build sticker on the drivers front door. I think 95 was the last year that used a press in bearing. If it is a press in you'll need to remove the knuckle and have the bearing pressed in by a machine shop or a shop that has a hub/bearing tool kit.

Plus you have to seperate the bal joint from the lower control arm 1996 and up,remove the axle nut and swing the spindle away to get the axle out thanks to Ford's really dumb engineer whom thought of this.The ring for the ABS to let the ABS speed sensor to read off of them is in the way which is on the axle.If there is a hard way to do things,Ford has it
