the car just dies

Im posting in reference to my fathers car, it happens once in a blue moon but when im at light or completely stopped, the car will vibrate then shut off, almost like its stalling. It doesnt happen often but Its got us all kinda stumped

yo..dude
most common problems wit stalling is ur fuel or air intake...
u might wanna check on ur fuel filter or fuel pump...
or maybe ur air filter...might be to clogged up...

another old thread. things to check: it can be your idle air control valve. its under the throttle body.
