Talking In a clash of cultures, a new Skyline may emerge!

I present my latest crazy idea.

Take one Revell Dodge Magnum intended to make a Euro-spec 300C SRT-8 Touring, said Magnum missing one headlight bucket, said 300C donor being a bit wide and not an SRT-8, and a desire to do something with it a bit out of the ordinary, a quick glance at my unbuilt stash...and this is what happened

The parts fit between the Aoshima Skyline and Magnum is actually pretty good. Since the photo I've glued the front clip on, added the headlight buckets so I can properly fit the hood/headlight covers/R-34 fender caps, and I've smoothed in the Magnum taillamps in order to convert the rear end to using the Aoshima taillights, which will need some work on the outer bezels to fit the chiseled contour of the Magnum tailgate.

Color will be Mica Silver, wheels will be black, Nismo stripes will be used, it will be badged as a Nissan, I'll use the R-34 wheels, RHD dash and seats, the Magnum SRT-8 6.1 L Hemi (if I can scrounge a pair of Skyline valve covers, and they fit, well...), and hope that WWIII will not begin on A/F over this nutjob conversion

Cool!! I'd rather watch this project progress than that creepy Match.com chick at the bottom of the screen!

interesting idea. I too bought 300C and the Magnum to do the very popular 1:1 surgery - but you are right, the parts are not a perfect fit. This does look good

This is going to be one to watch!

I will have to see it in primer, tho, before I can make up my final mind.

BTW, you're nuts!

That's not exactly news

Thank goodness you didn't say "your" or my answer would be a lot different

I'll have my camera and take shots in-progress when I stub in the front fender pieces and the taillights; I should get some good progress and some primer tomorrow

Very nice idea! If you ask me, the Skyline front will look better on this car than its original does.

Hmmmm, this is interesting. Quite the frankentsein there, badged as a nissan with a hemi? I can see where you might get WWIII. I can't wait to see where this one goes, should be very interesting when it's done. Good luck.

Actually, the SRT8 HEMI Magnum is 425hp Putting an unmodded Skyline engine would only slow it down
