Re: Ford GT Matech Simil'R and Aston VDS

The Ford GT looks amazing. This kit should arrive soon at my house. Maybe somebody will make the Marc VDS decals that drove at the Belcar race at zolder on Oktober 2nd.

No, created by Nicolas Crestey of Simil'R. And he drew the Aston VDS decals.

Yes... I understand the costs involved...

Wow that's a lot of cash for a plastic kit. I pay'd mine 51 euros including shipping. It was 46 euros for the kit in pre-order and have to pay 5 euro shipping fee. Now that the kit is released the price is 52 euros.

52 euros less than 105USD in Dominomodels or Hiroboy

Blue Paint is not included.

Re: Ford GT Matech Simil'R and Aston VDS

Guys, I was really excited when I heard that SimilR was to release the ford Gt
as I had already built a few of my own. I used the Jada toys kit as basis and with the aid of pictures modified if completely and laminated fiberglass bodies for slotracing purposes. I had the Interiors vacuumed out of lexan and the decals are Alps....
I already have the SimilR pescarolo, a body which I had also already built using the LMM 2006 version, and was a little disappointed with the detail. I really hope the Ford is better....
Here ar a few of my pics.

Happy new year!

Some photos of the Pescarolo Judd LMP1 2011, scheduled for 2012:

My own kit is for the Pescarolo team, number 69 of 500.

It's a curbside kit, the same for 2012:

Happy new year!
Looks great. Where did you buy the Marc VDS decals for the Ford GT? I want to make the 24hours of Spa 2011 version.
