WIP - Ferrari California Hamann-ed.

I have recently starting working on a new project - the Revell Ferrari California and so far it looks really good both in quality and fitment and doesn´t look like a Revell-model in any part.. But I DO think that the regular California looks rather dull.. So I decided to rebuild it into the Hamann Ferrari California:

I will try to replicate this as close as I can. I took the rims from the Mercedes SLR and widened the lip a little bit to make it look abit more aggresive

That is all for now. Comments and Critics are welcomed !

Good project, but I'm not a fan of those rims on a California though...

Yep 20 and 21" ones. I believe the right ones for the California are the 21" ones.

It´s because I only had those rims in stock. Where can I find the real wheels? anybody know?

Re: WIP - Ferrari California Hamann-ed.

As for the rim sizes, I suggest trying some 21"s as an average 20" Aoshima seems a bit undersized to me on mine:

Re: WIP - Ferrari California Hamann-ed.

Today I got my order from Hobbydesign and you guys will probably like this..

I really like the new wheels.. looks alot more like the original and also with the low-profile tire it also looks alot more realistic..

Here are the pics !

I will try to finish this one up for the nearest weeks, I hope But still haven´t decided for the color yet.. any tips..?

I do love the shape and style of this kit...well done Revell.
Second rim choice appeals to me the most too.

Re: WIP - Ferrari California Hamann-ed.

Looks better even though the wheels are a tad too small, look like 19" instead of 21" and also somewhat different than the Hamann Race Editions.
