1/25 Ghostbusters ECTO-1A Fully Detailed
I made a start on this kit last night but decided to add a bit of extra detail using a Monogram '59 Cadillac and ParaGrafix PE detail set.
![]() The ParaGrafix detail set. ![]() I cut open the rear door to show off the planned interior detail. ![]() ![]() The next task was to remove the molded in hood, plenum and part of the fender tops in order to add the Monogram engine bay to help liven up this otherwise very basic curbside kit. ![]() ![]() Another bonus of doing this conversion is using the Monogram bumper and grille unit so you get proper clear headlight lenses instead of AMT's molded chrome headlights. ![]() I also sourced some MPC BF Goodrich Radial TA Tyres and steel wheel's with Baby moon caps from a Pro-Modeler Corvette in order to be more prototypically correct. ![]() Regards, Dan
