How do I change Crank shaft sensor?
1999 Intrigue, 3.5, Can anyone tell me where the crank shaft sensor is and how to change it? Is it similar to the cam sensor, because I have changed that recently. By the way, God must answer the prayers of cars because I found this forum just before I was ready to roll this pile over a cliff!

Re: How do I change Crank shaft sensor?
First you will need to remove the starter, the crankshaft position sensor should be located behind the starter, held in by two screws I believe.
God does answer prayers, Im sure of it.

Re: How do I change Crank shaft sensor?
Actually theres one bolt holding in the sensor. I just replaced mine the other day. Its a pain to get the first wire little wire off, you'll need a small wrench and nimble fingers, but once thats of the starter comes out pretty easy. It took me about 10-15 minutes the second time.

Re: How do I change Crank shaft sensor?
You guys are awsome, thanks for the help. As I have read more posts it seems like the hard starting problem is more likely the Fuel Pressure Regulator, so now I have to figure out how to replace that.
