WIP: Japanese Trueno with surprise..

well i decided to start another model car I bought while I was in japan. I am still working on my Subaru but I sat it aside for a bit. Im glad school is done for now so I can have more time to build

Well lets get started, I had seen an article in modified magazine and it had a trueno in it that I really liked so im going to copy its exterior. but I wanted to try something different, so i decided to build an F20C engine from a Honda S2000 to throw in there I hope it turns out well!

engine starts from a scrap b16

after some styrene putty and sanding (sorry the pictures of the progress are waaaaaay to fuzzy to post. it sux having a camera with out macro)

test fit

SSRs

with the custom header

im hoping for something like this

thats all for now, hopefully i'll have more time to work on it later

Hahaha, I saw that article on SuperStreet was it? I can't believe they just sell them like that! I've also seen that AE86 with the F20 on honda-tech. Good luck with the bulid, it looks real good right now!

Where did the s2000 motor come from? I would love to put that in a s2000 kit.

Re: WIP: Japanese Trueno with surprise..

You really did a great job turning the B16 into a F20C, wow!
Engine bay looks rad, air filter/intake detailing is sweet.
The F20c swap into old-school Toyota's is all the rage here in California, first time I've seen one in 1/24 scale though
