WIP: Japanese Trueno with surprise..
well i decided to start another model car I bought while I was in japan. I am still working on my Subaru but I sat it aside for a bit. Im glad school is done for now so I can have more time to build
Well lets get started, I had seen an article in modified magazine and it had a trueno in it that I really liked so im going to copy its exterior. but I wanted to try something different, so i decided to build an F20C engine from a Honda S2000 to throw in there I hope it turns out well!![]() engine starts from a scrap b16 ![]() after some styrene putty and sanding (sorry the pictures of the progress are waaaaaay to fuzzy to post. it sux having a camera with out macro) ![]() ![]() test fit ![]() SSRs ![]() with the custom header ![]() ![]() ![]() im hoping for something like this ![]() thats all for now, hopefully i'll have more time to work on it later

Re: WIP: Japanese Trueno with surprise..
Hahaha, I saw that article on SuperStreet was it? I can't believe they just sell them like that! I've also seen that AE86 with the F20 on honda-tech. Good luck with the bulid, it looks real good right now!

Where did the s2000 motor come from? I would love to put that in a s2000 kit.

Re: WIP: Japanese Trueno with surprise..
You really did a great job turning the B16 into a F20C, wow!
Engine bay looks rad, air filter/intake detailing is sweet. The F20c swap into old-school Toyota's is all the rage here in California, first time I've seen one in 1/24 scale though |
