Datsun 510 4dr Track PART2

I thought this would be a nice way to end the build. I finally delivered the model to a friend. These are pics that Dan(the owner) took at his shop. If you've seen the lime green SR20det powered 510 in the June issue of SportCompactCar, Dan did the fab work!

Re: Datsun 510 4dr Track PART2

WOW. That looks wicked! Great job. I like the wires coming from behind the dash and the boots on the axel are way cool. Only thing might that might need an extra look would be the exhaust system. Otherwise it's awesome!

Wow, this car is just pure madness !

love the very realistic and attention-to-detail detailing :-)

It looks the real deal, guess the owner was pretty happy about it too, no?

Ciao

Re: Datsun 510 4dr Track PART2

Awesome! It's great to see a model with the 1:1 it represents. And the comparison photos just go to show the attention you paid to replicating it to every detail. In my opinion, this is the best form of car modelling; replicating a specific car down to the last detail. Amazingly impressive detail work. And it's rewarding to have a the owner grinning ear to ear over the model, isn't it?
