Toyo pickup exhaust questions 87-22R

I have an 87 toyo pickup, as the subject suggests. A 22R motor with a 22RE head on it for higher compression, I've thrown out all emmissions stuff to install a 32/36 weber, cat backed from 1.75 to 2.25" straight through genie tornado muffler. The truck rocks. Funny that I would chose now to worry about emmissions stuff, but does anyone know how far you can take a Toy and still have it pass east-coast emmissions standards? in stock condition the vehicle fell below one percent of everything. and uh, anyone throw any mild cams into their 22R series motors?
