89 GTS dies when I turn my lights on!!

Hello,

So here is the deal. When I turn my lights on, push on the brake, or put it in reverse my car will die and wont even let my rev the engine to keep it going. If I use my turn signal the engine will almost die with every click of the signal. Now here is the weird thing. It stopped doing it last week for a few hours then did it again and now it stopped today again. I think it has something to do with the rear lights but i'm not sure. I had to take the brake light fuse out to drive it home. Any ideas??

Check the battery and charging voltage, sounds like the battery is very low and the extra load from the lights draws it down further causing it to die.
