Monte Carlo-z34-3.8-stalls

I have a 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 with a 3.8. this car runs like a dream BUT it intermitantly stalls for no reason, some times it will start up again and run fine. Other times it will not start again but by the time it is towed to the mx shop it works again. my mx has driven it for weeks on end and it does not stall for them I am going to sell this car at action if I cant figure out the problem. car has 114,000 miles on her
I have replaced:
ignition module
fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel injectors (a while ago)
the hoses, plugs etc have all been checked
there is no error on the computer at the shop
the service engine light does not come on to indicate a problem
there seems to be a couple of week time frame or approx 200-300 miles between stalling.
any suggestions?

Re: Monte Carlo-z34-3.8-stalls

by a volt meter when it fails next time check the the fuel pump has voltage to it when you turn key for first two seconds...fuel pump relay is also suspect,,fuel pressure gauge woud help to measure when it don't start...then if you have a security problem /alarm system gone bad that is also a reason..

no dtc is usually fuel....pressure goes to zero..

my daughter has this vehicle...still runs good...gas tank rusted out only major problem.....have had it for 10years
