Need new trans and radiator.. Live in greater detroit metro area... Any thought on repair prices, quotes I have recieved seem high..
Salvage trans and new radiator 1650.00$ Remanufactured Trans w/ 12month 12,000 warranty and new radiator 2250.00$ Am I getting screwed or what? |

What year what engine and what transmission?
Check you local parts places on brand new rad prices. Gm has some good deals on gm factory rebuilt transmission. 3 year 100K parts and labor warranty. plus cash rebates. One year or 12 K is not a very lon warranty. Call you local GM parts place and be sure to ask for a discount. What is the problem on your old transmission?

2000 zr2 with 170k on motor and original trans. shop said radiator was plugged and caused the trans to overheat.
