I'm wondering if there is a way to disconnect the motor for the headlight so the light stays up and will still turn on with the switch? Please help.

Depending on your year... 93-97 the motor has it's own harness so all you would have to do is unclip it. 98-02 there's a fuse in the fuse box under the hood, not sure where, I imagine it can't be too hard to find though. Just have to turn your lights on, and disconnect your harness/remove your fuse and you're good to go.
