Wind Noise!

Hey there, my girlfriend recently bought an 05 Equinox and we noticed that it had a wind noise coming from the windsheild area. I was told that maybe it was the roof rack but they were moved to the back. I was also thnking that it might be a poor design with those nice big gaps between the windsheild and the hood.
If anyone is experiencing the same wind noise and knows if there is a solution please let me know. Any comments are welcome. Thank you.
