Question SRS airbag Light

SRS air bag is on and has been on for months...took it in to get diog. and it wouldnt even show up on the computer..im hearing that it may be just a wire but you have to follow the entire electrical to get to the bottom of it..which will take alot of time...and as we all know..time is money...does anyone have any ideas or solutions for this problem...and im coming up on my inspection being due...wil it still pass with the light on???

Re: SRS airbag Light

In NYS it will pass, every state is different, if the scanner used was not air bag functional there is no access to SDM, I would assume the shop would know this and have the correct scanner and/or program installed.
