Re: 2001 regal LS poor fuel mileage
Is this city, highway or combined mileage?
19 mpg is in the normal range if it's all city driving, a little low in a combined city/highway, and horrible if all highway. 01-02 regals are covered under an extended catalytic converter warranty (7years/120k miles) due to known issues with the factory converters. A bad cat would cause bad mileage due to the exhaust restriction it causes. See link for extended warranty explanation. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=681283
