'96 Z34 fans won't shut off, no heat...

Tonight i tried to use my heater and the temp gauge got scary close to the overheating mark and air still blew cold. Then after I got home the cooling fans kept running for a good 5 minutes after the car shut off. A couple weeks ago while idling the car overheated and was bubbling out the reservoir. Mechanics told me internal blow in a head gasket. I was wondering if anybody else had something like this happen...or if theres any way it could be anything else...i don't want to tear half the engine apart on a car I can barely stand to drive in the first place...Help!!!

Is it possible to plug the leak with coolant sealing stuff? They used to have leak products that you just put in the radiator.

you have a blown engine ...your heads at the least need replacing...continuing to drive after you were told the the head gasket/heads cracked is sure to cost more than this vehicle is worth..

no heat and the fans continued to run after shut down means serious heat damage...this effects all the internal componets

good luck on finding a newer vehicle....remember use the correct coolant and check all fluids regularly....If not this will happen to your replacement vehicle...
