Confused, BP up, patience down
There's a "quick-connect" attaching the wires to the fan switch on the bottom of my Camry radiator . A quick-connect it is, but a quick-DISconnect it ain't.
The little clip 'thing' does not release the male portion. I tried poking a small screwdriver into it without forcing it, but the little bugger won't let go! I'm thinking of snipping it off, buying a new male portion of this thing (if they're out there) and going with butt-connects, but that's a very dirty and vulnerable area. What in blazes am I doing wrong!!! |

Re: Confused, BP up, patience down
There's a tab (there SHOULD be) that you press down on with your thumb, then wiggle gently. It's got a rubber seal inside, so it may be a bit tight getting undone.
