Kia Pregio or Mitsubishi Express

I'm planning to buy a van to transform it into a Camper van and travel Western Australia with it for a couple of weeks before I will sell it to other backpackers.

I've already been looking at a few cars and now I have to decide between two cars. The first car is a 2004 Kia Pregio with 300xxx km and regular service. The second car is a 2008 Mitsubishi Express with 200xxx km. The current owner had the Mitsubishi for 6 months but has never done any service. Therefore, I don't know when the car was serviced the last time.
The Kia costs 3200$ and the Mitsubishi 3500$.

I don't really know a lot about cars and of course I know it's a gamble to buy a car with that high kilometers. Thus, I really appreciate any advice regarding the reliability of the cars, how long they last or any other experiences.
