2002 Tundra wheel clicking
A while ago I installed a 2" suspension lift to the truck and added larger tires (285/75R17). I also had to install 2" wheel adapters to get the new tires to clear whilst turning.
I have noticed that the front left wheel now clicks. There are 2 clicks per rotation. 1 quiet and 1 loud one following immediately after the other. This is a 1:1 per revolution. It does not make this noise when jacked, only with weight. I wonder if this noise is from the wheel adapter itself or another drive component. I have not tested this in 4 wheel, but curious if it may be CV joints? |

Re: 2002 Tundra wheel clicking
Sounds very well like it could be CV.
