can left hand drive engines work in right hand drive cars?
i know this question has, most likely, been answered already, but I'm new to the petrol-head club, and I want to swap my engine, but I have a right-hand drive Rav4( my country is a left-hand traffic only (except for expats, returning nationals)) and I've sourced an engine in the US via a friend, but its from a left-hand drive car. will it work? does it make a difference which type of drive the engine comes from?

Re: can left hand drive engines work in right hand drive cars?
I honestly don't think there is any correlation between the engine and what side the drive is on. In other words, it's kinda like asking for a left handed spatula - there really is no such thing.
