The Serpentine Belt Tensioner has gone bad on my wife's 2005 Ave. I want to replace the tensioner, but I don't have a clue where to start. If anyone out there can give me step by step instructions, I will be greatly thankful. This is a 2005 Chevy Aveo, with 1.6 liter engine.

Re: Serpentine Belt Tensioner
Mine went bad last year and I had trouble finding out what was causing the noise. Looked to me like it would be difficult for me to try to replace. Finally took it to a local mechanic and they installed a whole new tensioner for $35.00.
