1993 explorer sport trans.problem

I have a 1993 Ford Explorer Sport manual 5 speed transmission I just put a new clutch in it newslave cylinder when you put it in gear and you can push the truck around I took out everything was fine I don't want to put the Trans back in if it's the problem could it be the transfer case allowing the free spin of the driveline?

Is this the same symptom that caused you to replace the clutch and slave cylinder, or something that just happened?
