Ferrari f430 challenge ika musume 2nd edition
This is the 2nd livery for this car. The first one i built was so cool i had to get this one.
Im doing alot more to this one. Crazy modler pe set. Open doors wired interior. I hope i dont re-re-re-burn out and quit before i get this one fin. Here we go ![]() Here is the first car and decals for the second car. ![]() Here is the front skid plate covered in carbon. ![]() Rear skid. Touch up is needed. I got a little fustrated and had to walk away from this stage ![]() Door busted open. ![]() I made the door jams with multi-put 2 part epoxy All i did was put some petroleum jelly on the parts i did not want the pox to stick to. Dry fit the interior tub and chasis to the body and push the pox into the door jam and shaped it to what i wanted. When cured, the body poped right off the pox area and i had door jams ![]() More shaping with putty is needed to finish. |

Re: Ferrari f430 challenge ika musume 2nd edition
Doors next
I taped the door back in place ![]() Then i added flat stock to the back of the door inner ![]() Then i snipped off the flat stock till it fit correct and glued it in place ![]() Here i did the same with the pox to the door. ![]() Remember you can smooth multi-put with a damp finger. Also any pox that got on the door in a undesired place can be easily washed off with a water damp towel. It is way hard tomsand that stuff off after it cures. A wet handle of a brush can also be used to smooth out the epox |

Good work mate!
I really appreciate your wip so far and the detail you are giving about your work I have always wondered how these blokes do these door jams and making the door panels fit properly, I've never really used milliputt, so cheers mate!!

Re: Ferrari f430 challenge ika musume 2nd edition
I added a shifter that i robbed from another kit
![]() I added some string to make a set plug wires and glued it down with future ![]() Here is the engine bay. With a diffrent tranny that better matched the one on the car ![]() Another shot ![]() I may cut the rear hatch out so all the detail will show. ![]() There is a decal that goes on the back glass that will cover mutch of the bay I spent 1 hour putting carbon on the the vent thing but now it wont be used |

Re: Ferrari f430 challenge ika musume 2nd edition
I got around to finishing the intake tubes
![]() I had to repaint the interior. It turns out it is sliver instead of black. While i was at it i scratched a console and made the shifter more like it should be. ![]() To match my first build i have go get some racing white. I some how picked up bright white. That is going to be a small hold up since my lhs is a long trip. Well i have to finish the under carrage and assemble the chassis and figure out what im going to do about the side glasses. that is going to take some head scratching |
