their website is down

and my regular North America supplier is really hit or miss for inventory, so getting what you want specifically is difficult

is there any way to contact or deal with them directly?

I had noticed their website has been down for awhile. You may be able to contact them through Facebook

HobbyEasy in Hong Kong carry all their range.

I know there are several outlets who list their products, like Jet, Hobbyeasy and others as you mentioned

I much prefer to purchase from local vendor, and not ship internationally if at all possible

If I had to ship overseas, then I'd rather that was then dealing direct with them, but so far no luck in determining that though!?

Hobby Design is alive. They are working on a new website.

I'd generally not deal with aftermarket companies directly. Let the resellers worry about chasing inventory and refunding out-of-stock items instead.

With Chinese or Hong Kong based aftermarket stuff I usually use Hobby Easy. They are much closer to the source and their prices are usually cheaper even with shipping factored in.
