Has anyone used the HobbyDesign Hamann Fiat 500 transkit?

Hi Gentlemen,
If anyone got their hands on the transkit, I only would like to know if the Hamann resin rims are the correct size or they fit the original undersized tires instead?
Thanks for the information!
Tamas

The Hobby Designs rims are a bigger diameter than the kit supplied rims.

Hobby Design don't supply tires with this trans kit and I had a mission finding a suitable tire. I eventually found something suitable in my stash but I have no idea what kit they came from.

I used the TK too, and had same issue to find correct tires.
I tried several sets, Tamiya Celica for example, and some from unknown origin but still haven't find convincing tires for the moment.
Tamiya Celica tires are close to the need but I have a boxing mistake in my kit and only three similar tires... (?!? )

Thank you guys, at least the rims are better than the box ones. Does the transkit come with exhaust tips also, or it is also my turn to find matching ones in my parts box?

Re: Has anyone used the HobbyDesign Hamann Fiat 500 transkit?

I was able to find plenty of tires that would fit the supplied rims diameter but they were too wide in width to go inside the wheel wells without starting major modifications.

The tread width on the tires I used are .380"/ 9.65mm wide. I think these tires originated from one of the fulimi tire/ wheel sets

There is no exhaust tips supplied but it only takes a tick to whip some up out of aluminum tube.
