you should have a manual to do his properly and safe.

the oil leak may be a rear main seal. when the engine is not running for a few weeks the seal can dry out and leak slightly. with regular oils this can effect the rubber.

I have used bars engine oil stop leak with good success on many GM engines. you only need a few ounces not the whole bottle to reduce or completely eliminate the leak[s].
