As far as my notes show, all long tail monocoques start life as standard F1 chassis mould forms, with cut and shut bonded sections that turn them into longtails, if you look very closely at a longtail GTR you can see the bonding join for the rear wing/fender section. The roof scoop is also another section bonded on. All longtail GTR,s have a different carbon and layup spec to the road version, read that as stiffer/lighter.
