Brake Help

I am selling a 1998 caviler tomorrow at noon and when I step on the brakes it seems like the backs ones lock up or something like that. I took off the drums and saw nothing wrong. When you first start to drive the car it will jolt and skid the back tires when you step on the brake.

It seems like the backs lock up or that the backs apply before the front and the momentum of the car drags the back tires.

After you drive for about a mile it seems to work its self out. I bled the fronts as well. what could this be.

Re: Brake Help

Wheel cylinders were not leaking?

Were shoes worn?

Drums grooved?

Hardware ok?

Shoes properly adjusted? Backing plate lubed?

E-brake cable hanging up?
