Question 2002 ram idling weird

I have 2002 Ram 4.7 Ltr, 105000 miles and at idle it revs high and then normal then high then normal. I have no idea what is the issue. Anyone have any ideas? I do think it might need a tuneup but not sure if that has any idea with the idle issue.

Re: 2002 ram idling weird

The idle air control valve (IAC) might be sticking and need cleaning with carburetor cleaner.
