f250 electrical problem

Hi,

We have a 2002 F250 that has been experiencing an intermittent electrical problem in which the entire system shuts off as if you turned the ignition switch off. It will start and run fine then out of the blue it just dies with no electric at all. lights ignition all dead. sometimes it seems if we wiggle the key it will work but then dies again.
Someone mentioned an inertia switch could be the culpritt. Any input or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
