Honda RC 166 GP Racer

Hello all again.
It is next completed model.
I made some modifications and added 160 bolts, nuts and rivets. I replaced all the wires and cables as these from Tamiya were too big and heavy.
I've reconfigured the steering damper and added brake cables. I made a new cooling system with nuts, brass rods and tubes.
I've made from polystyrene base of windshield.

And that model is presented.

You could pass that off as a real one. Fantastic build with excellent photos to show it at its best

Wow! Beautiful model, looks real. Considering some of the poor models I've seen on this forum awarded '5 star' ratings I'm suprised you've not got more appreciation of your skill & attention to detail; it's outstanding. Congatulations.

Cheers,
Lee.

Incredible work....
If it wasn't for the assembly pictures, I would have thought it was the real thing!

Beautiful!

Re: Honda RC 166 GP Racer

wow - beautifully done cayman - I don't suppose you have a WIP for the entire build? would love to see all the stages. not to complain, just a comment the Tuner model manufactory bolts you used are not "period" pieces - that type of bolt with the dimple in the top was not around until the explosion of the early 90's for titanium in the racing motorcycle industry. I have seen up close many bikes of that era and they don't have the dimple in the head of the bolts - just a comment - I really like this build - John
