Re: Rothmans Porsche 956

All the color/graphics is done with decals over a plain white body. Unfortunately this is all of the decals that came in the kit.

Turns out the kit was missing at least one decal sheet, the one with all the white graphics and main sponsors. There are also some multi-color decals not included, (drivers names, Lemans badging, wheel lettering…). I don’t know if the kit never had them, or they too were lost. So I will have to make replacements…

Re: Rothmans Porsche 956

Looking really good, I've done a few of these starter 956/962 and you are very,
very patient do apply the side decals. I said hell with that and just painted it.
Can't wait for more.

Kit would have been complete. Maybe Pattos Place offers some decals for this. Still might be a worthwhile consideration even if you can make your own.

You may be able to find replacement at [email protected]
he's the french guy who bought most of the starter/PM decals stock when they closed their doors.
He often comes on modeling events with several boxes of decals from every themes possible of course including a lot of Le Mans decals.
try to contact him, he will sell you the spare if he still have some.
He's also on Ebay but I can't remember his nickname...

Re: Rothmans Porsche 956

Thanks for the info, but no worries. I draw decals for a living...

I made the missing decals and applied them…
