Cool Shirt
I just spent a crazy hot weekend at Barber.
Besides the passenger floorboard, does anyone know where a coolshirt cooler can be mounted that would not obstruct vision using the rearview mirror. Thanks, Todd |

Re: Cool Shirt
I had mine installed in the trunk on top of the gas tank.

Re: Cool Shirt
the same, home built the cooler from an igloo and boat sump pump, and a rheostat from the net. shirt one must buy...straped on the top side of the fuel tank...love the cool
bill (after seeing the cooler, the real one my nephew has...and how long the ice last, would buy the next one.)

Re: Cool Shirt
Passenger foot well is best area. You will add about 20# (full of ice) and that is the best location for weight distribution. I wouldn't like to add it to the rear of the car, but I guess you could argue that it is the same as 3.5 gal fuel which doesn't seem like a ton of weight.
When I ran a passenger seat, we had it set up infront of the seat and it worked fine w/o anyone sitting there. Easy to remove or install for solo drives. I've also seen them strapped into the passenger seat, but that wont pass race tech. Kevin |
