Re: Ferrari 250 GTO [1/24 Italeri]

This is awesome, as soon as I saw the paint on it, I knew I liked it. I think it looks fine, not every Ferrari has to be the same!

i fully agreed.
but then since he has started the unthinkable, let's just sit back & see what he can come up with.
who knows, he may well initiate Ferrari SPA interest to build a new generation 250 GTO!?!?

anything can happen...

it's just a cheap plastic model, not a real gto being modified

OP i like the flared fenders, not sure about the airdam or side skirts, but that's a personal taste thing
personally i'd leave those off, keep the flared fenders, and use a 599 kit for the chassis/interior/wheels/drivetrain = kool

nice paint job, love that color!

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO [1/24 Italeri]

I liken passing judgment on a custom before it's finished is kinda like deciding you don't care for a certain food before tasting it. I seldom like new 1:1 cars the first time I see them - and they're finished! It takes a little time and distance for me to decide if something's good or not. Maybe thats why I like older cars. At any rate I plan to just enjoy the thread and keep an open mind without commenting on what looks good or bad because I know my opinions will change.
