2006 Ion Sporadic bucking in wet weather

I have a 06 Ion with the 2.2L Ecotec. Mostly during wet or rainy conditions the car will begin sporadically bucking when taking off from a stop. It's as if the rpms are going up and down very quickly.

I checked the MAF sensor and gave it a cleaning along with the intake and filter. I couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

Re: 2006 Ion Sporadic bucking in wet weather

I have a 2004 with the same engine. I've never had a problem with it. I would check connectors, spray them off with contact cleaner coat them with dielectric grease before plugging them back in. This don't cost much in $ or time and I think most techs would agree this is a real common problem. Just my 2 cents.
