Re: Help!!!

Read my first post.

Not sure why you swapped the a6 head over to the Z6 block, you just created more work than you needed to.

Your problem sounds like either a timing issue or some other issue that is keeping the ECU in Limp mode. Pull the passenger carpet back and count the flashes.

Z6 ecu will not just plug and play, you would have to convert to OBD1. You can use the a6 ecu with the a6 distributor even with the z6 head. It won't engage vtec unless you hook the Vtec solenoid to a switch yourself, but the engine still wont have the correct maps so it won't run as well as it should, but it will still run well enough.

Again, read my first post.

And try to add some punctuation, makes it hard to follow without it.

Thats what you need. You never swap engine harnesses, you just modify the one that came with your car. If you did swap your harness when you put in the z6, swap it back.

You don't need to run the p28 if your not running the z6 head and distributor. The bottom end is basically the same block, its the heads that make the difference between the two engines.

Check your codes and double check your timing, make sure you have it right.

Re: Help!!!

Dude, read what I have already posted a couple times, I can't make it any clearer than that.

Your stock PCM plugs will not plug into the P28, it requires a conversion harness: OBD0 to OBD1. Get the conversion harness, PCM, Distributor and add a few wires. Boomslang comes with good instructions to let you know what wires to add.
