Sensing and Diagnostic Module

Can I just replace the Airbag control Module on an 03 Impala? Or must I have it flashed/programmed? Car was full of water after windows were left down and it covered and killed the module under the passenger seat. Local stealership just says "bring it in and we'll fix it". Thanks a Million.

Eric

Re: Sensing and Diagnostic Module

Replace the SDM, see if the air bag lite stays on if so further diagnosis is needed, if the lite goes after self diagnosis you are good to go, but careful here these systems can be troublesome.

Awesome thanks! I hoped it was plug-n-play.
