I'm wanting to apply some decals to the body of my truck. How do you clear coat with sanding for the auto body? Sand paper grit to use? Very fine: 220-240? Extra Fine: 280-320?

Re: Decals - Clear coat & Sanding grit
I am not sure what your question is. You can apply decals over clear coat. If your wanting to sand to re-clear a panel you can use 800 grit. If you use courser grit, it may show through the clear when applied. Does this help?
