03 Taurus wagon-New to me

I just got the car from a relative who died and have some questions and no owners manual.

If the car has a CD Changer, Where would it be? It does have a radio head with CD but no AUX in outlet to plug in my XM radio. Any ideas how I might get the XM to work?

I also found a puddle of water in the spare tire well and suspect it gets in through the power antenna. Is there a good fix for this while I am drying it out?

It sure would be nice to find an owners manual if any one has one laying around.

I'm sure to have lots more questions as I get it ready for the winter.

Thanks for any responses.

Gary

Go to www.fleet.ford.com and click on maintenance tab. Click on owners manual then enter the information for your car.

Re: 03 Taurus wagon-New to me

Thanks w2o, that helped.

Still have more questions.

It has 225 60R 16 for tires on stock rims and I need to buy winter tires and maybe a set of winter rims. I don't know how these wagons perform in snow but we get plenty here and I want to be as close to the best it can be. Hope someone who knows these cars might jump in and recommend the right size wheels and tires to look for. What other sizes fit this and what should I watch for in wheels on my local CL that will work. There appears to be lots of decent sets of 15 inch wheels but no 16s at this time.

I keep Blizzaks on my Accord wagon for winter and it is a tank in the snow so I am thinking they should work on the Taurus if I can find the right size and a set of wheels. Will 15s fit and if so is this a good idea to leave a little room in the wells? I am also thinking a bit narrower on the tires and I don't plan to carry anything in the car but me and some incidental groceries most of the time.

Re: 03 Taurus wagon-New to me

I had a set of Blizzak WS-50 tires on my 1998 SHO. I bought a second set of stock chrome wheels and downsized one size in width. It got around great with the Blizzaks. I'm not sure if enough changed though by 2003 to know what wheel/tire sizes would work. You could check the door sticker to see if it lists a smaller, optional tire size for the car.
