First Airbrush-Rookie Q.

Okay so iv finally picked up an airbrush (nothing fancy it cost me $15).
I did a program in high school for airbrushing but that was your basic canvas paintings with pre-thinned acrylics and such.

so my main question is this, I have a set of Testors enamels (you know the kit on the orange spindle), what ratio do i use fir thinning those paints? i know their probably not the greatest but i cant afford to go and re buy all new paints from tamiya ect. as much as id love to! lol

Im not a complete newb to airbrushing and paints, iv just never really had to thin my own stuff before

also if anyone has any good tips or hints for a rookie lemme know!
Thanks everyone in advance!

get a gallon of laquer from the hardware store or a 5 gallon pail from a automotive paint supply. i thin enamels half and half reason i use laquer is because it helps enamels dry faster.
