In this climate that may be as effective. People are either broke or dumb. Those with a few bucks think you're desperate.

This is not a distressed sale. Except inasmuch as I'll have cars coming out of my azz in a few months.

FWIW I tried to sell a car on E-bay had about 150 watching and 15 bidders some asking what I'd sell the car for. Did a 2nd auction a week later with about the same results. Eventually somebody that had low bid the car bought it a month later close to what I wanted for it. You just never know when somebody will show up with money.

Sadly everybody thinks anything for sale is a fire sale these days.

I'll bet even if you cut the price 20% or 30% you'd still get low balled.

Keep the faith eventually it will go.

Selling my cobra was similar. Pain in the azz. I had it listed for about 6 weeks with lots of guys interested. Then one day I got an email from a guy who had to have it. I had a FedEx deposit the next day and a week later the car was in Houston. He still loves it.

Mike, it's going to a super nice guy who happens to live in town and runs with Chin Motorsports - same group I run with. We've probably run on the track before and just not realized it. He's excited about getting it. I'm glad it's staying close by so I can keep an eye on it. Matter of fact, I think he's taking the car to Sebring on 12/11 and I'll probably be there too.

I'm heading up to Pittsburgh soon as we are just about ready for the 289 body to be laid up in the mold.

Exciting times all around...
