1995 Chevy Beretta for my first car

The owner says it runs good. Automatic tranny, aftermarket pioneer stereo with dual 10" subs (if I would buy I would take out one sub to have more trunk space) and a 600watt amp.

I know all those extras don't really change the price THAT much, just wanted to list them anyways.

Yes, it has a giant spoiler. I lol'd too.

So what do you people think? Oh, and the asking price is $1250, $900 without all the accessories (fender, custom review mirror, subs, amp, bunch of other miscellaneous car related items). Keep in mind this would be my first car.

Go test drive it and see if you can live with it. Not the worst price or worst car around but aftermarket spoilers always put up a red flag with me that the owner thought he was living in the Fast and the Furious, which means he probably had the pedal to the floor everywhere he went. Personally I would hold out for something...else. Maybe save up for a few more months and see what's around. I think the sweet spot for a first car is around 2500-3000. That puts you into territory where it should last at least until you go to college. (Just assuming you are 16 since it's your first car)

IF you did end up getting it, I definitely wouldn't pay him extra for all that extra crap. Especially that spoiler.

Don’t take any decision in hurry. Go to thorough examination of this car. Check every paper related to it and also take a test drive so that you can judge it this car is as good as being your first car or not.
