'95 T-bird EGR valve. Help!

I need to replace the EGR valve. Any tips or tricks on how remove it would be greatly appreciated. The valve is located in tight spot. I have a '95 T-Bird, 4.6L V8.

Re: '95 T-bird EGR valve. Help!

I'm going to replace the valve as a last resort. I'm going to spray a little bit of carb cleaner in the valve, and use some fuel system cleaner to see if it clears it up. I was thinking about removing the cowl, and possibly the heater hose valve to clear up some room, if I'm going to have to replace it. What part are you referring to as the Y pipe?
